2. What is THAC?
THAC is a website that provides TravelWell Plan subscribers unlimited access to tailored travel health advice and information before, during and after international trips.
3. How does InterHealth ensure THAC is kept up-to-date and relevant?
We use a variety of different sources for our information including international travel health databases e.g. Travax and NaTHNac in the UK, CDC in the USA, disease alerts via Pro-MED, WHO and Ministries of Health in individual countries, highly respected news sources such as the BBC, Reuters, CNN, etc. We have a dedicated team working on the website, developing thesite and managing and reviewing existing content and adding new relevant information.
4. Can I register if I don’t have an organisation email address, i.e. yahoo, gmail and hotmail?
Yes you can, but your registration will need verifying. Your HR manager will be responsible for verifying all registrations. Those who log in with an organisational e-mail will be able to access the site straight away.
5. What if I can’t find my country profile in the destination list?
If your country of destination doesn’t appear in the list then we will be more than happy to provide a country profile on request. Please send us an e-mail at thac@interhealth.org.uk and we will e-mail you a country profi le within 3 working days.Please remember to specify where you are going and the nature of your trip.
6. When can I use THAC?
Anytime. For more urgent queries TravelWell Plan subscribers can contact our InterHealth nurses are available via email and through our telephone Advice Lines.
